Arnaud Montebourg (Chairman of SICEF) presented the Ferromobile at Vivatech 2022, France’s annual meeting place for startups and innovative companies.

The Ferromobile is an electric car that can run on rails thanks to a mixed rail-road wheel inspired by the first railcars. On the rails, the vehicle is automatic and therefore needs no driver. On the road, it can be driven like a car, with the aid of a driver’s license. Finally, this vehicle is public and can be reserved as a shared-access service, a new public service.
